Together this team drive ROI and elevate the Synchronys brand presence in a dynamic market.Role Summary/Purpose:The AVP, Marketing Cloud Developer L10 position will function as a Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect reporting to the VP, Database Marketing Leader. The position will be responsible for working closely with Business Analysts to deliver on strategic business initiatives. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the Marketing Cloud platform as well as growing adoption within the businesses they support.Were proud to offer you choice and flexibility. You may be occasionally requested to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement integrated marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud platformDevelop and maintain Marketing Cloud Personalization beacons, site maps, and customization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions with REST API, AmpScript, and SQL development, including email and Cloudpage template development for campaignsDevelop and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations with external systems, data sources, and APIsDefine and implement data integration strategies for importing and exporting data into/out of Salesforce Marketing CloudImplement multi-channel strategies including web pages, cloud pages, email and/or SMS while working closely with Marketing Cloud Business Analysts to understand requirements and design cohesive solutions to meet business needsCreate and maintain documentation related to release initiativesDevelop and implement responsive, dynamic, and personalized email templates and landing pagesEnsure data quality and maintain data governance standards by building and managing Data Extensions, Segments, and Smart Capture FormsWork with Salesforce Admins to facilitate changes in the Salesforce platform to assist with marketing strategies.Organize, document and lead release management efforts across the platforms.Work with Campaign Ops teams to consume and process audience lists and update AMPScript in emails as neededImplement solutions to ensure and monitor data quality within Salesforce.Execute Marketing Cloud Admin functions, such as user access, send class/profile maintenance, other admin configuration as neededRequired Skills/Knowledge:Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of business experience, or in lieu of a degree, 6+ years of progressive business experience2+ years of Marketing Cloud experience to include:Understanding of Integration scenarios and design: Data ArchitectureHands-on development experience with AMPscript and SQLSalesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification highly desiredStrong documentation , training, MS Office , and business analysis skillsExperience with both Sales Cloud and Marketing CloudDesired Skills/Knowledge:Development experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScriptSalesforce Marketing Cloud Admin CertificationExperience in leading salesforce integration, optimization , and standard release managementUnderstanding of Agile project managementStrong understanding of financial card services business processesEligibility Criteria:Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of business experience, or in lieu of a degree, 6+ years of progressive business experienceWork Timings: This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time - 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
