Supplier Management & Strategic Relationship teams have the mission to maintain a right-sized, healthy, and dynamic portfolio of suppliers with the breadth and depth of capabilities to power Synchrony products and services while maintaining compliance with our Supplier Management program and reduce the 3rd party outsourcing risk. The Office of Agile(OOA) endeavors to support the enterprise-wide adoption and adherence to Lean-Agile principles through the promotion of progressive thinking, tools, and techniques. In addition, the Office of Agile strives to define organizational guidelines which identify, prioritize, align and successfully execute the strategic directives of senior leadership. The Client Systems Support (CSS) team delivers multi-platform configuration solutions to drive functionality behind many core processes across Synchronys credit and pay later products including loyalty programs and campaigns, cardholder pricing and billing, promotional financing, merchant processing, billing statement content, cardholder letters, and plastics.Role Summary/Purpose:The AVP, Lead Analyst Reward IT is responsible for the wing-to-wing process management and operational execution of assigned Synchrony Financial Client Loyalty programs.Key Responsibilities:Design and build loyalty strategies, programs and statement messaging to support client requirements.Set-up Loyalty program operational rules in conjunction with the Synchrony Client Systems Services (CSS) team and/or vendor personnelIn conjunction with the Synchrony IT Testing Team, test ongoing Loyalty programs and Loyalty promotional offers prior to live implementationMonitor loyalty promotions in production and provide the CSS Parameter Review Board with validation resultsLearn existing and newly developed capabilities of the various Synchrony Loyalty platforms.Utilize Data Warehouse and Fiserv to provide Reward program reporting for internal and external customersMonitor and audit key Reward process control points to ensure high quality run operations; initiate corrective action as directedRequired Skills/Knowledge:Bachelors degree and minimum of 4+ years of IT experience or, in lieu of degree, minimum of 6+ years of IT experienceMinimum 3 years of experience working in the credit card or payments industryMinimum of 2 years of hands on experience with Fiserv systemsDesired Skills/Knowledge:Fiserv system experience including DMM, Rules, TLR, PLP, IDP and AFP.Hands on experience with Fiserv Rewards systems or other credit card loyalty programsCredit card Loyalty programs experienceProven experience effectively interfacing with cross-functional teamsStrong project management skillsStrong Quality orientation/skill setStrong client orientationStrong problem-solving skillsHigh level of initiativeEligibility Criteria:Bachelors degree and minimum of 4+ years of IT experience or, in lieu of degree, minimum of 6+ years of IT experienceWork Timings: 8am to 5pm EST(WORK TIMINGS: This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time - 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
