Organizational Overview: The Performance Marketing Team is the engine behind business growth as it handles the majority of marketing activities. This includes targeting the right audience through campaigns, distributing content via channel marketing, conducting a thorough analysis of campaign launches and budgets, and also ensuring compliance via surveillance and governance all to maximize results and maintain a competitive edge. Together this team drives ROI and elevates Synchrony's brand presence in a dynamic market.Role Summary/Purpose:In this role you will be responsible for strengthening Growthxe2x80x99s supplier compliance monitoring activity program and conducting oversight and governance of the Growth Supplier Management organization to ensure consistent and reliable execution of SMP program requirements and related activities. This role will manage calibrated category and some other suppliers but primarily will work with supplier managers to ensure supplier alignment to recently introduced SMP compliance requirements. Other responsibilities will including reporting out on the overall profile of the Growth supplier base including: metrics, risk profile, issues management, spend, resources, financials, supplier health, and other perspectives to provide leadership with an overall eye on our supplier ecosystem. Additionally, you will have leadership responsibilities in driving cross- functional initiatives across the Growth Supplier Management team.Key Responsibilities:Lead creation and maintenance of Growthxe2x80x99s supplier Compliance Monitoring Activity Task (MAT) program working with Supplier Managers (SM) to complete Coupa compliance MATs to support supplier QA reviews.Work with SMs to align compliance evidentiary requirements to xe2x80x9cAdditional Supplier Monitoring Activitiesxe2x80x9d documenting required evidence and creating procedures outlining steps for proper evidentiary review.Work with and influence peer group of Growth SM leads to ensure that SM teams are executing supplier governance, monitoring, and assessments consistently to help anticipate and mitigate supplier risks.Lead, drive, report, and aid SMs in closure of risks and issues across the Growth supplier baseEnsure the Growth SM teams maintain an xe2x80x9caudit readyxe2x80x9d posture and are executing supplier monitoring activities consistently and on-time.Document a consistent approach for day to day management of Growth Calibrated Category Suppliers and other suppliers as required, this includes managing these suppliersManage material creation and facilitation of Growthxe2x80x99s Functional Governance MeetingsOwn Growth Supplier Management procedure and job aid library maintaining updates to key Growth governance policies, procedures, and job aid documentsCoach and mentor other members of the Growth Supplier Management team identifying and sharing best practice ways of working across Growth SM teams.Other duties as necessaryRequired Skills & Knowledge:5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience with Growth process governance including knowledge of Process Universe, PRCSA program, and Critical to Compliance (CTC) framework and related laws & in lieu of a degree 7+years of experience5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience with risks and issues management3+ years Synchrony or other financial institution supplier management experienceDeep knowledge of the supplier management governance processesAdvanced analytical and quantitative skillsAbility to make decisions and solve problems independentlyWorking knowledge of process universe including all Growth-related L3 processesDesired qualifications:5+ years of experience with Supplier Management activities in a Financial Services, or other highly regulatory industryDemonstrated strong risk management mindset and behaviorKnowledge of Synchrony Applications platforms, products, functions and current vendors including Coupa, SAS, Tableau, eGRC/Bwise, Fusion, CollibraAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret multiple data sourcesVery well organized with a strong, proven ability to coordinate diverse groups of stakeholders to adhere to tight timelinesStrong analytical skills and an eye for detailStrong verbal and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, and facilitation skillsStrong team building skills and the ability to work effectively across teamsPositive can do attitudeEligibility Criteria:5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience with Growth process governance including knowledge of Process Universe, PRCSA program, and Critical to Compliance (CTC) framework and related laws & in lieu of a degree 7+years of experienceWork Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM ISTFor Internal Applicants:Understand the criteria or mandatory skills required for the role, before applyingInform your manager and HRM before applying for any role on WorkdayEnsure that your professional profile is updated (fields such as education, prior experience, other skills) and it is mandatory to upload your updated resume (Word or PDF format)Must not be any corrective action plan (Formal/Final Formal) or PIPL9+ Employees who have completed 18 months in the organization and 12 months in their current role and level are only eligible.L9+ Employees can applyLevel / Grade : 11Job Family Group: Marketing
