The role is responsible for :

• Credit underwriting, financial and business due diligence, management meetings, managing the internal approvals, documentation for onboarding an investment deal.
• Develop relationship with external stakeholders to get access to credit deals which fit our investment mandate.
• Meet with limited partners (LP) to communicate our investing philosophy and portfolio positioning etc.
• Ongoing and active portfolio monitoring and timely intervention/resolution, as needed.

As a part of the role will:

• Maintain ongoing engagement with intermediaries (DCM etc.) to track the market landscape and potential investment opportunities.
• Regularly meet management teams of potential investee companies to understand their business model and financial requirements.
• Close eye on performance of investee companies.
• Timely action for incipient performance issues with any investee companies \xe2\x80\x93 operational, financial, covenants etc.
• Develop a comprehensive process workflow for initial underwriting and ongoing monitoring & management of the portfolio.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Knowledge, Education, And Experience:

• Chartered Accountant and/or Postgraduate (Finance) preferred.
• Approx. 12 to 15 years of credit/investment management, preferably in alternate Investment Company, Asset Management Company, NBFC or Bank.
