We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP Credit Advisory Principle Responsibilities: Interface closely with Blackrock and internal IT to develop or enhance Advisory features HSBC is utilizing. Collaborate with various IWS product teams to incorporate the relevant investment content into the Advisory process. Provide domain expertise to resolve BAU/Operational issues from booking centres related to Global Advisory. Manage the quality of advice and the model methodology within the Advisory architecture framework. Liaise with other local platform teams to enhance the UI/UX for the advisory client journey. Perform critical data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and stability of outputs from key platforms like Aladdin, ART, eFOS, Avaloq & Qliksense. Collaborate with global & regional Advisory team on sales enablement topics and solve topics related to portfolio construction and investment content. Resolve advisory topics related to portfolio analytics escalated by the front office. Manage risk governance by maintaining Target Operating Manuals (TOM) and relevant process documents for audit purposes. Monitor and administer shared workspace/mailbox to track and address Advisory related queries. Develop Product Management domain knowledge and effectively manage governance forums like topic specific workstream meetings to commercialize Prism features. Design MI dashboards and liaise with data providers in the bank for streamline process. Strive to embed accuracy, consistency, operational efficiency and risk management attributes in the process design and business frameworks. Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: Degree in finance/business and with other professional accreditations such as CFA (M) 8-10 years of experience in Financial services industry specifically within Private Banking and Wealth Management or Asset Management (M) Strong understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction (M) Strong knowledge across asset classes (traditional and alternatives) and product types (Funds & Structured Products) Has previously been actively involved in building advisory propositions and platforms (E) Quantitatively inclined with a keen eye for details (E) Knowledge with platforms and systems such as Aladdin, Qlik-Sense and Avaloq (D) Adept with MS Excel and PowerPoint (E) Working knowledge of programming languages like Python and SQL (D) Effective with stakeholder management and able to work with teams across locations (M) Ability to multi-task and comfortable working in fast paced ecosystem Index: Mandatory (M) / Essential (E) / Desirable (D) What additional skills will be good to have Critical to be able to collaborate as part of the broader global and regional Advisory teams Ability to be act as subject matter expert and tap on the extended Advisory ecosystem for additional feedback and inputs Strong communication skills required to guide end users in the front office when they have queries on Product Management (Sales enablement and Portfolio Analytics) Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
