Job title : AV Design Engineer Experience : 3 - 7 yrs Location : Bangalore Timings - Day shift Work from office : Roles and Responsibilities : Based on the Architect/AV Consultant CAD diagram, Scope of AV can be identified and provide initial level BOQ to the client. Conduct site survey, gather relevant information from clients and provide efficient/cost effective AV system design. Understand the client\'s requirement, manage their expectation, and Convert client criteria into functional audio / video system designs. Validating the solutions with the drawings provided by the client / in the tender. Complete solution to be taken care without missing any items in the BOQ as per the project requirement. Develop and provide complete bill of material to end client based on the agreed scope of work. Taking approval from the Design Manager with regards to the Design Solution. Create a rough AV Schematic diagram based on the BOM. Provide a detailed description of the AV functionality to the client and that can be incorporated in a sales proposal. Prepare technical submittals as well as providing detailed scope of work. Preparing Shop drawings by locating AV Rack, floor box(s), junction box, power, voice/data, microphone, speaker, Lighting, Control and AV signal cable locations and placement using CAD engineer. Coordinating with other traders before or during projects to avoid project conflicts and issues. Taken care of end-to-end Design & Co-Ordination with Project & Sales team Being upgraded with the present technology available in the market. Co-ordination with the partners for the solutions and pricing. Customer Relationship Management and Price negotiation. Ability to be self-motivated and independent. Ability to think creatively as well as methodically regarding technical issues and processes. Providing demo to the clients about products & Application oriented. Skills Requirements : Solid knowledge of audio-visual connectivity and signal flow. Understanding of AMX/CRESTRON programming cause/effect impact on overall audio-visual systems. Ability to maintain program version control and adhere to configuration management. Experience reading wiring diagrams and system design drawings. Extensive knowledge of RS232/422/485 and IP based control protocol products. Strong system evaluation, system testing, documentation, and reporting skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service orientation, excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to work cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications : - BE, or related field with 3 to 5 years\' experience successfully designing/engineering large scale AV projects. Superior time management and organizational strategies to ensure ability to execute against time deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as maintain independence.
