Service Advisor Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, actively listen to their vehicle concerns, and gather detailed information to accurately diagnose and understand the issues they are experiencing.
• Automotive knowledge and expertise to recommend appropriate services, repairs, and maintenance based on customer concerns and vehicle manufacturer's guidelines.
• Clearly communicate recommendations to customers, providing detailed explanations and estimates of cost and time involved.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate with technicians, and ensure the smooth flow of vehicles through the service department.
• Communicate customer expectations and vehicle information effectively to the service team to facilitate accurate and efficient repairs.
• Maintain regular and proactive communication with customers throughout the service process.
• Provide updates on repair progress, notify customers of any additional repairs or delays, and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
• Identify additional service and maintenance opportunities based on customer's vehicle history, manufacturer recommendations, and current condition.
• Proactively educate customers about the benefits of recommended services to ensure their safety, prolong vehicle lifespan, and enhance performance.
• Accurately document all customer interactions, services performed, and vehicle information in the service database. Maintain organized and up-to-date records for future reference and warranty purposes.
• Strive to deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any issues or concerns raised by customers. Ensure a positive customer experience by providing courteous and professional assistance throughout their visit to the service department.
• Liaise between customers and technicians to ensure accurate and efficient diagnosis and resolution of vehicle issues.
• Translate technical information into understandable terms for customers and assist technicians in interpreting customer concerns accurately.
• Assist customers in understanding and navigating warranty coverage, ensuring that all eligible repairs are appropriately documented and processed.
• Collaborate with the warranty department to ensure timely reimbursement for warranty claims.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, systems, and maintenance requirements.
• Familiarity with various vehicle makes and models, as well as diagnostic tools and equipment commonly used in automotive service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Organization and Time Management in order to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Efficiently manage appointments, service orders, and follow-up activities to ensure timely service delivery.
• Basic technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs. Ability to understand and interpret technical information to effectively communicate with customers and technicians.
Qualification: Diploma or B.tech mechanical,Automobile and MBA
