Position Overview:
As an Automotive Sealing and Glazing Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing sealing and glazing systems for our automotive vehicles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of these components.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Create innovative and cost-effective sealing and glazing systems for automotive applications, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Product Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve existing sealing and glazing designs to enhance performance, reduce costs, and maintain competitiveness in the market.
• Materials Selection: Identify and select appropriate materials for sealing and glazing systems, considering factors such as durability, weather resistance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the development of prototypes and conduct testing to validate the performance and durability of designs. Analyze test data and make necessary design adjustments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure seamless integration of sealing and glazing components into the overall vehicle design.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with automotive industry regulations and ensure that sealing and glazing designs meet safety and environmental standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Cost Control: Work to optimize the cost of materials and production processes while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address design challenges and issues as they arise during the development process.

• Proven experience in automotive sealing and glazing design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Creativity and a passion for innovation in automotive design.
