GVM is embarking on an ambitious mission to create a revolutionary new vehicle from the ground up. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Engineer to lead the design, prototyping, testing, and refinement of this vehicle, ensuring it meets both performance and commercial viability standards. This is a hands-on role for someone who is not just a visionary but also capable of executing and delivering tangible results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of a new vehicle, including all major systems and components.
• Create prototypes, conduct rigorous testing, and refine designs to ensure optimal performance, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with experts in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to integrate all systems seamlessly.
• Ensure all designs comply with global automotive safety and regulatory standards.
• Develop a roadmap for production scalability and commercial rollout.
• Stay at the forefront of automotive innovation, incorporating the latest technologies and sustainable practices.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and developing vehicles or key automotive components from scratch.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
• Hands-on prototyping and testing expertise.
• Deep knowledge of automotive systems, including drivetrain, chassis, suspension, and powertrain (EV/hybrid experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with global regulatory and compliance standards for vehicles.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicle design and manufacturing.
• Background in advanced materials, aerodynamics, or lightweight construction techniques.
• Proven track record of bringing a vehicle from concept to commercial production.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?363,112.21 - ?1,560,461.52 per year
