Unilift Cargo Systems Pvt Ltd is a premier logistics and engineering solutions provider, specializing in operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts. We are currently executing a significant project with one of the leading aluminium companies in Jharsuguda.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automobile Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of Techno Vehicles used in an aluminium plant environment. This role requires hands-on expertise with vehicles such as ATV, LTV, LTTV, ALF3, FTV, FCV, and COMBO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repair of Techno Vehicles (ATV, LTV, LTTV, ALF3, FTV, FCV, COMBO) used within the aluminium plant.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, adhering to company standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the maintenance operations.
• Provide technical support and training to the vehicle operators and junior maintenance staff.
• Implement and follow best practices in vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
• Provide vehicle availability to operation as per target in all 3 shifts.
• Plan job sheets and ensure compliance.
• Perform PM as per schedule and increase effectiveness.
• Maintain housekeeping of the workshop and parking areas (5S performance).
• Dispose of scrap as per schedule (waste management).
• Conduct site visits and share observations; perform surprise inspections for vehicle checking.
• Analyze BD, PJ & PM; vehicle mileage; hydraulic oil and engine oil consumption; maintain engine tracker and major spare consumption tracker for all vehicles.
• Participate in improvement projects such as KAIZEN & CASHe.
• Take responsibility for AO module (RCA, CAPA involvement).
• Ensure the health of vehicles.
• Maintain attendance as per actual present percentage.
• Gather feedback from VAL Team, area managers, and HOD.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in repairing and maintaining Techno Vehicles, particularly in an industrial or plant environment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working in an aluminium plant or similar industrial setting.
• Familiarity with the specific models of Techno Vehicles listed (ATV, LTV, LTTV, ALF3, FTV, FCV, COMBO).
