Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using

Selenium WebDriver

and

Python

. Implement and work with different Selenium frameworks:

Data-Driven Framework

Keyword-Driven Framework

Hybrid Framework

Page Object Model (POM)

Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD tools like

Jenkins

,

GitLab CI

, or similar. Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools like

JIRA

,

Bugzilla

, etc. Work closely with the development team to understand application functionality and ensure coverage through automation. Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and integration testing. Maintain and improve test automation infrastructure. Generate detailed test reports and participate in review meetings.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in

Selenium WebDriver

with hands-on experience in

multiple testing frameworks

. Strong programming skills in

Python

(unittest, pytest, etc.). Experience with

API testing tools

like Postman or REST-assured. Knowledge of

CI/CD integration

, preferably using Jenkins. Familiarity with

Git

or other version control systems. Understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies. Knowledge of browser debugging tools and handling of dynamic web elements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. ISTQB certification or similar (optional but preferred). Experience with

BDD tools

like

Behave

or

Cucumber

is a plus. Familiarity with

cloud-based testing environments

like Sauce Labs or BrowserStack.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
