About Business line/Function:


The Global Markets (GM) business of BNP Paribas helps its Corporate and Institutional clients leverage capital markets across the globe for their financing, risk management and investment needs. This encompasses a wide range of financial products ranging from foreign exchange to complex Equity Derivatives that are traded in financial markets across the globe 24/7.


IT systems are integral to the business and are a key part of the value proposition to clients. These IT systems range from industry standard products for standard process automation to internally developed, often, market leading IT applications.


The IT teams owning these IT systems are made up of functions that include Technical and Application production support, Business Analysis & Project Management, Development & Maintenance and Quality Control. POSITION PURPOSE
--------------------


The person should be highly skilled in Techno Functional role. Senior Tester to design manual and automation tests.


Main function will include - Identify Requirement gaps early in the cycle during the Grooming or Test Planning, Identify corner cases by thinking out of the requirements and acceptance criteria, designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems.

Responsibilities


Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience on Functional testing, Regression testing and Automation testing. Should have experience on various kinds of systems (Web-based, desktop based, thick or thin client, client-server architecture, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Selenium (Expert level).
Ability to Design functional cases as per clients requirement
Good knowledge of Python or Core Java
Experience in automation of RESTful services
Ability to Design Automation Framework as per client's requirement.
Good in communication skills. Should be able to communicate with onshore/offshore teams and resolve issues.
Good knowledge of creating Continuous testing pipeline and integration with Jenkins
Working knowledge of integration of Test Automation with Jenkins.
Should have fair knowledge of configuration management tools. Preferred GIT & BitBucket
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming.
Good knowledge of creating and executing scripts using ROBOT framework.
Preferred knowledge of TestNG & Pytest framework.
Good programming and Analytical Skills.
Ability to work within tight deadlines
Perform functional and automated regression test execution as per release timeliness.
Good knowledge of Functional, Automation and Project Governance and KPI's
Individually manage and drive all Testing related activities for project.
Working knowledge of BDD and TDD.• Ability to design & execute manual tests to better understand application functionality as well contributing to functional testing.

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

Essential skills / attributes:


Good knowledge in systems, application frameworks, database, and experience being responsible for the success of software development projects
Develop and execute test automation through Robot Framework with Python
Proficiency in programming languages Python, Java and VB scripting
Enhance test frameworks and develop automated tests using RIDE tool to ensure consistency.
Should have strong DEVOPS skills to implement CI
Should have strong database skills: SQL Server (and/or) Oracle.
Estimate test accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities
Good to have knowledge in Banking domain
