Date Posted: 2024-04-15Country: IndiaLocation: Block G&H (Tulip), 8th Floor, Embassy Tech Village, Sarjapura Outer Ring Road, Devarabeesanahalli, Bangalore, Karnataka,560103, India.Role Overview:Otis is looking for an Automation Testing Lead, to execute and oversee the Automation testing platforms and development programs in addition to working closely with partner resources to ensure they are developing/executing per OTIS guidelines. Additional responsibilities include guiding teams on complex design decisions and mentoring Jr. Developers. This role will provide subject matter expertise in the following areas: Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS), Selenium, Testing Accelerators and Testing Centre of Excellence. This position will be in close coordination with the other technical leads & application architects for scripting and execution.On a Typical day you will require:

• Strong experience/knowledge in Automation testing Frameworks and 3rd party tools (Ex: OATS, Selenium, Leap Work etc.).
• Basic SQL skills with ability to extract and analyze large volumes of data using SQL Server databases.
• Design and deliver Program Test approach for automation, its Implementation Strategy, Test Data Strategy, Test Environment Plans including estimations, test execution, defect management in a proactive manner.
• Assist with Testing workshops and functional process workshops in all financial areas.
• Interact with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions.
• Define testing scenarios and develop test scripts.
• Provide status and issue reports to the Project Manager on a regular basis.
• Coordinate testing activities with functional and technical leads.
• Test Logistics (scheduling, setup, physical space)
• Monitor and manage the defects and assign them to resources as appropriate.
• Status reporting of testing events.
• Track execution activities and adjust schedules and tasks as necessary.

What you will Need to be Successful

• 7-10 years of experience in Automation Test engineering.

• At least 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) testing
• At least 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Selenium hands on Automation or similar
• Java skills with experience in Junit, TestNG, and Javascript.
• Ability to review PRD Design Docs, Mocks
• Lead level capabilities and handle resource management end to end.
• Able to work in a team environment, with mentors and architects available to help troubleshoot issues.

Performance Measures

• Troubleshooting mechanisms and aptitude
• Ability to communicate & liaise with system team and meet timelines.
• Ability to learn, understand and deliver on new platforms and design architecture, various topologies, and application testing scenarios.
• Good at analytics and can solve complex testing scenarios.
• Ensure visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality software.
• Coordinate and review System Test, Integration Test and UAT cases/scripts and scenarios.
• Review and approve testing results.

Desirable

• Good understanding of concepts around Generative AI and other niche technologies.
• Working experience on Cloud products
• Understanding of Agile Methodology and of Release Cycles.
• Willing to learn and work in new technologies.
• Familiarity with Domain Administration
