POSITION PURPOSE
--------------------


This position will be responsible for developing and successfully executing QA test strategies and test plans, and related testing services for Cash management stream. This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation scripts for regression and performance testing for multiple supported systems. We are looking for top-notch, energetic talent to keep up with the industry's momentum and support the QA efforts.


This Position Involves functional testing covering, executing the functional and regression tests using Manual and Automation methods.


Your main activities, and that of your team, will be:

• Participation in the choice of tools, means and methodology in compliance with ITG-Group requirements and process
• Definition of end-to-end testing plans in collaboration with project managers
• Definition of test cases
• Execution and monitoring of end-to-end testing plans
• Reporting of ongoing tests

Responsibilities

DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Analyze business requirements and design documents for completeness, traceability, and testability


2. Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases


3. Prepare and execute test scripts and data for activities including black/grey/white box testing


4. Perform and document QA testing activities compliant with the bank standards and best practices


5. Build and implement test automation and processes and scripts for efficient and effective QA


6. Document/Develop QA testing processes and templates to implement best practices and standards


7. Work with development and business teams in defect root cause analysis and resolution


8. Work with business and IT partners to help deliver defects free systems

IT Skills & Behavioral Competencies

• 4-6 years of industry experience in banking systems' testing and quality assurance
• Experience in testing banking systems with multiple touch points and complex integrations
• QA experience in equipment financing solutions and core systems integration, including API testing
• Experience developing test strategies and detailed test plans for Web based application systems
• Technical expertise and experience in preparing and conducting grey and white box testing
• Ability to think on feet, present multiple solution options, and drive defect free products
• Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies and best practices including, deployment automation, code reviews, and test driven development
• Technical skills
• Application Lifecycle Management and QA Specific Tools


o HP Quality Center or Octane

• Test Automation Tools


o Selenium with Java


o Cucumber


o Gerkin syntax exposure

• Operating Systems


o Experience in navigating Unix and Windows Servers

• Programming (skill at levels consistent with grey/white box testing)
