Job Description

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium. Your role involves creating and executing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. You will analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues effectively. Designing comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on requirements and user stories will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will integrate automated test scripts with CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and maintain quality standards across the software lifecycle.


Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align on quality goals and testing strategies. You will optimize and enhance existing automation frameworks to support new features and improve performance. Responsibilities also include documenting test plans, procedures, and results for effective stakeholder communication and conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.


To excel, you must have proficiency in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver, along with a strong understanding of automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab, API testing tools like RestAssured, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is crucial. Strong debugging skills and familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and processes are also essential.
