LittleBIG Connection is actively looking for an Automation Quality Engineer in Tunis!
As an Automation Quality Engineer for APIs, you are a part of an agile team within the innovation tribe, specifically the API squad, which includes a Project Manager, tech lead, 3 developers, and yourself as the QA Engineer. Your role involves scripting and creating automation environments for repeated testing. Using various automation tools, you design, test and deploy effective automation test solutions. Your primary goal is to automate testing efforts as much as possible with minimal code while ensuring code security and quality. Your role and responsibilities will be:
Identify key functionalities of each microservice or API to be tested.
Update and create automated test scripts to execute scenarios efficiently and reproducibly within sprints.
Deliver high-quality builds within specified deadlines.
Maximize test coverage for critical system features.
Prioritize test scenarios and create execution plans.
Write and update documentation for automated processes, including test plans, procedures, and test cases.
Manage anomalies discovered during the validation cycle, from detection and analysis to reporting to development teams and requalification with constructive feedback, ensuring follow-up in bug resolution.
Candidate Profile
At least 3 years of experience in Automation QA.
Programming skills in common languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Good skills in Json /YAML
Practical experience in creating and maintaining API automation tests.
Experience in back-end and API testing.
Familiarity with tools like RobotFramework is a plus.
Basic knowledge of implementing QA regression in a CI/CD pipeline (using Jenkins, Docker, GITlab) is advantageous.
Proficiency with tools such as Selenium, SoapUI, Postman, Jenkins, GIT, Jira, Xray, Jmeter, etc.
Additional experience in performance testing, GDPR, accessibility, interoperability, and security is a plus.
Fluent in English.

We do work using agile methods \xe2\x80\x93 Scrum \xe2\x80\x93 and give full autonomy to the squad on the process. Each squad and tribe is driven by OKRs giving the directions Product Managers and Technical Leaders should materialize in the Now / Next / Later roadmaps and share to the whole company. We work on containerized environment and use Gitlab CI/CD to deploy applications/microservices regularly (almost 2 releases per week in 2022). Our stack includes a common IDE (IntelliJ), Postman (API env.), SonarQube and other tools to ensure high standards for our platform for any new features and easing the migration/remediation of our legacy path.
