We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction, prevention, and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people.Automation Engineer Senior AnalystPosition Overview:Content Engineering Solutions team is seeking a Automation Engineer Senior Analyst to develop, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks for our Drupal-based web applications. This role will play a key part in ensuring the quality, scalability, and efficiency of our software testing by designing and executing robust automated test solutions.As anAutomation Engineer Senior Analyst, you will collaborate closely with QA, developers, DevOps, and business teams to improve automation coverage, optimize CI/CD integration, and ensure a seamless release process. This position requires a strong technical background in test automation, API testing, and CI/CD workflows within an Agile environment.Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and optimize automated tests for front-end, back-end functionality, and accessibility to accelerate deployment cycles while ensuring software quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize automated test suites to improve efficiency, stability, and maintainability.
• Integrate and maintain automated tests in CI/CD pipelines ensuring continuous testing.
• Analyze test data and production issues, identifiying root causes and enhancing automation frameworks accordingly.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for effective resolution.
• Escalate risk and issues in a timely manner to ensure effective planning and stakeholder communication.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing as needed, ensuring critical scenarios are covered beyond automation.
• Follow and contribute to QA best practices, helping drive imrovements in testing methodologies.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Actively participate in team meetings to foster collaboration and maintain alignment with projects goals.

Qualifications:

• A proven track record of over 4+ years in successfully testing and ensuring the quality of web applications.
• Strong analytical skills in reviewing business requirements, designing efficient test automation suites, and logging/tracking defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and principles to software testing.
• Strong programming skills, with practical experience in JavaScript (preferred) or TypeScript for automation scripting.
• Proven experience in automating Web UI and API testing using Cypress, ensuring reliable and scalable test coverage for front-end and back-end functionalities.
• ProficiencyinGit-basedsource control tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document test processes and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessary.

Required Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or related fields.
• 4+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years focused on test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright for UI and API test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD integrations.
• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Jira) and Git-based version control (GitHub, GitLab).
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience in Scrum teams.

Desired Experience:

• Experience testing Drupal-based applications in large-scale environments
• Familiarity with Acquia Cloud Platform for Drupal deployments
• Exposure to accessibility testing standards (e.g., WCAG compliance, Evinced tool)
• Performance testing experience, especially JMeter testing
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex automation challenges
