We are establishing a Greenfield manufacturing facility near Ahmedabad in India. This will be the flagship facility in line with Industry 4.0 with state-of-the-art lights-out advanced automation and digitization. This will also provide us with a blueprint for any of the future greenfield and major brownfield expansions. To deliver this, we are hiring a highly competent and motivated Automation Leader who will lead the automation team and partner across supply chain and technical functions to turn this vision into reality for the new site near Ahmedabad and set the standard for the future project around the world.

The Automation Engineering Manager will lead the design, procurement, installation, and start-up of all the automation scopes across manufacturing, warehousing and utilities. The design will be done in partnership with multi-functional team including global IT and with global subject matter experts. The role has a shared responsibility of tasks together with production, warehouse & Logistics automation, QA and auxiliary services etc. to ensure full requirement and customer satisfaction.

The Automation leader will bring to the team the competence on Factory Automation System (FAS), Process Control System and Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Robotics and integration with warehouse/logistics automation solutions. This person should have deep understanding of the automation systems in the following areas, PLC, SCADA, Batch control, Database and reporting, Historian, ERP integration, Equipment connectivity protocols, EMS, BMS, WMS, Robotics, Drives, Vision systems, Emerging technologies \xe2\x80\x93 IOT sensors, edge devices, etc.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do for Us

• Lead a team of 3-5 engineers to deliver the greenfield site in accordance with the project vision, Coca-Cola standards and external best practices.
• Closely work with global IT and Automation team to define the standard architecture for the green field project and ensure alignment with global automation strategy. Propose and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources relating to the electrical & automation team.
• Propose, control and deliver the electrical & automation component of the site Capital Project budget and schedule in partnership with Project Director.
• Lead and coordinate the electrical & automation team and maintain competencies, motivation, and performance to achieve the team\xe2\x80\x99s mission and objectives. Ensure safe installations and operations through proper design, protection systems, procedures & training.
• Manage electrical & automation documents (manuals, diagrams, instrument data sheet, software packages/licenses, IT and OT system architect) through efficient filing and archiving procedures.
• Propose and monitor electricity in accordance with the key performance indicators. Always ensure the technical integrity/performance of the electrical energy supply and distribution.
• Demonstrate and promote the company\'s values within the electrical & automation team. Ensure workplace safety and effective communication of Safety, Health, and Environment to all team members. Ensure the technical integrity/performance of the electrical energy supply and distribution.
• Ensure the technical integrity/performance of the electrical energy supply and stay abreast with the current trends and available technologies related to process automation and digital systems. Ensure all the systems are secure, supported and functional and adding value to the business.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Degree in engineering, preferably Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Extensive experience in the field of electricity / automation in a manufacturing facility with experience in design, vendor management, FATs, construction, and startup.
• Should have detailed knowledge of PLC, SCADA system, IT and IOT platforms, Digital Manufacturing operations based on actual project experience.
• Knowledge of FMCG, preferable Food and beverage Production, Quality Management and Engineering requirements for operations and design. Detailed Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety, hygienic engineering, and Quality Monitoring System.
• Knowledge of local electrical code and standards is needed. In-depth knowledge of electricity, in low voltage, medium voltage and high voltage installations is an added advantage.
• Ensure workplace safety and effective communication of Safety, Health, and Environment to all team members.
• Coordinate with the site Safety Officer on electrical & automation matters relating to safety, electricity distribution, energy conservation, legal compliance, complaints etc.
• Should have detailed Knowledge of automation systems in the areas of PLC, SCADA, Batch control, Database and reporting, Historian, ERP integration, Equipment connectivity protocols, EMS, BMS, WMS, Robotics, Drives, Vision systems, Emerging technologies \xe2\x80\x93 IOT sensors, edge devices, etc
• Experience in preparing User Requirements Specifications (URS) and FDS (Functional Data sheet).
• Detail oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with passion to improve and digitize work processes.
• Excellent project management, planning and organization skills and ability to work and deliver in changing environments while adhering to specified deadlines.
• Strong influencing, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and get results in a matrixed organization.
