At Alphanext Technology Solutions, we strive to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions with a focus on innovation and excellence. We\'re on the lookout for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.Responsibilities:

• Code Coverage Tools: Understand industry-standard code coverage tools in detail.
• Tool Integration: Identify and integrate different tools to gather coverage data, preferably using SonarQube for coverage.
• Test Infrastructure: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot test infrastructure using data and metrics.
• Virtualization Technologies: Design, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise virtualization technologies based on VMs and containers such as VMWare, OpenStack, and Kubernetes.
• CI Pipelines: Design, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins-based CI pipelines, maintain and report on Jenkins jobs.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, across business units, and across multiple time zones to deliver high-quality services.

• Coding Skills: Demonstrated ability in coding with one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
• CI Systems: Proven experience in the design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of software systems like Jenkins.
• Time Zone Flexibility: Ability to work with a couple of hours of overlap with the USA time zone.
• Problem-Solving: Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive.
• Performance Analysis: Experience in analyzing performance and debugging enterprise systems and applications.

• Experience: 5+ years as a test developer or tools engineer.
• Code Coverage Tools: Experience with code coverage tools like LLVM and SonarQube.
• Operating Systems: Understanding of Unix/Linux, and optionally Windows operating systems.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience working with Infrastructure as Code / Automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Jenkins.
• Configuration as Code: Experience with Configuration as Code in Jenkins (Groovy scripting) is a plus.
• Container Technologies: Proficiency with containers and container orchestration systems such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Storage Administration: Experience with storage administration such as Pure Storage, including troubleshooting.
• Organizational Skills: Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks independently, set goals, and follow through to completion.
