- Designing, developing, and implementing solutions for AutoCAD automation/customization projects using suitable programming language (C++, .NET technologies, AutoLisp etc.).
- Utilizing strong mathematical and geometric skills to solve complex problems related to CAD modelling.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand project requirements and design constraints, and translate them into automated workflows.
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging of backend functionalities to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Optimizing codebase for efficiency and performance, while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug API-related issues to ensure smooth and error-free operation.
- Providing technical support and assist team members for user acceptance and workflow optimization.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in AutoCAD APIs, C++ programming language and related technologies.
- Ensure good design decisions that allow for modularity for scalability and ability to make this available as a commercial product through cloud and web technologies.
- Diploma, Bachelor or Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Engineering with minimum 2- 4 Years of relevant experience in AutoCAD development
- An Automation Developer should be proficient in AutoCAD. Proven experience working with AutoCAD software, with expertise in automation and customization using scripting languages such as AutoLISP, VBA, or Python.
- Proven experience as a developer with expertise in C# programming language.
- Strong understanding of geometry, mathematical principles, and algorithms, with the ability to apply them to CAD customization.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD APIs (AutoCAD .NET API, AutoLISP, etc.) and familiarity with CAD software architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team.
