Automation Engineer-KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTSProvides assistance to the plant for opportunity studies and Expression of Need (CdC) Provides assistance in choosing the technical solutions Takes ownership of new equipment delivered by the Central Engineering Groups, including documentation. For large/complex projects, is in charge of the follow up for the implementation of the non-process part. Contributes to the workfloor safety instructions coming with the project Is the plant contact point for the central Engineering Group The quality system and the methods of his group are implemented (risk analyzes, FMEA, design reviews, quality planning, DTE, treatment of NC, ...). Validations (CI, RF, RC) are obtained after the phases of realization, installation, start-up and development of the equipment made in collaboration with related metiers of the industry. Prototype projects managed by the process development teams are supported. "as built" drawing are up to date. Implements new modifications, tracks them and provides feedback to the equipment referents For small projects, simple tasks and maintenance work orders, is responsible for all studies and implementation. Contributes to the workfloor safety instructions coming with the project Working with the Maintenance team, implements obsolescence correction work for machines and site installations Provides Technical Assistance to MaintenanceTechnical Knowledge expected: -Knowledge in Rockwell Automation PLC\xe2\x80\x99s and Drives (SLC, Control Logixs, Guard Logix and K6000, K5700) Programing and troubleshooting knowledge of RS Logix 500, Rs Logix 5000, Panel View Programing. Knowledge in SIEMENS Automation PLC\xe2\x80\x99s, HMI and Drives (SIMATIC S7 120, PROFINET IO, TP700, Sinamic G120, WinCC) Knowledge Para metering and troubleshooting of Nidec Drives (Unidrive Sp, M- Drives and Digitex drives(M750)). Ability to interpret electrical & pneumatic circuits. Minimum Knowledge Electrical Schematic creation or Modification using Electrical Cad tools. Handson working on machine safety devices and knowledge about the Pl & Cat Hands on experience in field devices like digital, analog sensors, RFID, Barcode readers. Knowledge in PLM software for equipment lifecycle management. Project management awareness in capital equipment deployments.
