You will be working as Automation Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Business Development Industry & Education Network, reporting to Head \xe2\x80\x93 Business Development Industry and ED for ABB\'s Robotics & Discrete Automation business area, Machine Automation division based in Pune, India. You will be responsible for bringing knowledge of latest technologies of automation to the classroom to help educational institutes to generate industry ready engineers. Through Education Network B&R tries to bridge the gap between the educational institutes and industry.

Your responsibilities

• Identifying, defining, developing and executing the best strategy to create an ultimate pull of B&R brand into the college
• Holding marketing, technical presentations and discussions with the colleges and industrial bodies to make them aware about advantages of B&R Education Network
• Researching colleges, universities and individuals to find new opportunities. Building data into CRM
• Conducting training, seminar and workshops for teachers and students. Staying updated with B&R technology and industry knowledge
• Selling B&R hardware to colleges/universities for training the students. Keeping good and long relations with different level of employees within the college
• Creative enough to support student projects and developing various applications for student projects/workshops
• Organizing National Level Automaton Challenges/Events

Your background

• Bachelors in engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics)
• Minimum 3 to 7 years of overall experience, and at least 1 year of experience within Indian business environment with the expertise in Automation is an advantage
• Well-developed understanding of Industrial Automation systems like PLCs, motors, drives, motion control and robotic systems is preferred
• Demonstrable experience in building strong and enduring customer relationships within highly dynamic and competitive markets
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, executive communication and leadership skills with fluency in English and Hindi, oral and written. Further local languages are an added advantage
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Willing and flexible to travel up to 75%
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty. Previous experience of conducting trainings is added advantage
