Our mission is to digitalize and automate our engineering processes, freeing and enabling our engineers and consultants to focus even more on bringing value and sustainable solutions to our clients. We focus on the areas of Computational Design, Software as a Service (SaaS) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), RPA, AR/VR etc. Digital Development Centre is a subordinate of Group Digital & Innovation and co-located with Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) in Gurgaon ,Chennai and Hyderabad, India.Digital Development Centre focuses on handling complex challenges in engineering, creating and feeding automated processes to our developers for creation on new tools and processes. Its teams will be solving problems with other experienced engineers globally using innovative and creative approaches on challenges not solved before. They work across disciplines and markets with a portfolio ranging from smaller automation initiatives to prestigious major projects with complex geometry. For this role, we believe your starting point is:This role requires you to be able to solve problems in a creative way. Many of the problems that you will deal with do not necessarily have an existing solution implemented. To do so, you need to be an open-minded person with good communication skills to work collaboratively as well as independently as needed.Responsibilities:

• Develop automation solutions for design and engineering software platforms including Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Tekla.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to understand automation requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and implement scripts, plugins, and custom tools to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
• Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and databases to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and debug automation solutions to optimize performance and resolve issues.
• Stay updated with the latest software updates and industry trends to continuously improve automation capabilities.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on using automation tools effectively.
• Document automation processes, workflows, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ proven experience as an Automation Developer or similar role with a focus on Autodesk products (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D),MicroStation and Tekla.
• Strong proficiency in, C#.
• Must have working knowledge on WPF.
• Must have knowledge about MVVM Pattern
• Hands on knowledge on GitHub/Azure Devops.
• Experience with API integration and development for Autodesk products (Revit API, AutoCAD API, Civil 3D API).
• Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) principles and workflows.
• Understanding of CAD standards and practices in the AEC industry.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other AEC software platforms and tools.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Dynamo for Revit, AutoLISP for AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
