Position: AutoCAD Trainer

Job Summary:

The AutoCAD Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs focused on AutoCAD software, ranging from basic to advanced levels. This role involves instructing individuals or groups, creating training materials, and ensuring that participants gain the skills and confidence to use AutoCAD effectively in their professional work.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AutoCAD, a passion for teaching, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be able to tailor training programs to suit the needs of various learner levels, from beginners to more advanced users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Delivery:
• Conduct in-person or virtual AutoCAD training sessions for individuals or groups.
• Teach foundational and advanced AutoCAD concepts, such as drafting, drawing, design, 3D modeling, annotation, and rendering techniques.
• Provide hands-on training, demonstrations, and exercises to help participants practice AutoCAD skills in real-world scenarios.
• Ensure that all training sessions are interactive, engaging, and effective in helping students achieve their learning objectives.
• Curriculum Development:
• Develop and update AutoCAD training materials, including manuals, presentations, tutorials, and exercises.
• Customize training programs to meet the specific needs of the company, clients, or course participants.
• Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD software features and industry trends to ensure training content remains current and relevant.
• Student Support and Progress Tracking:
• Provide one-on-one support to trainees as needed, answering questions and offering guidance during or after training sessions.
• Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and practical exercises to ensure understanding and mastery of AutoCAD tools and techniques.
• Offer constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills.
• Workshops and Certification Preparation:
• Organize and lead specialized AutoCAD workshops for advanced users or specific industry applications (e.g., architecture, engineering, interior design).
• Prepare students for AutoCAD certification exams (if applicable), helping them understand exam requirements and key areas of focus.
• Provide refresher courses for employees or clients who wish to enhance their AutoCAD skills.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, and student progress.
• Provide reports to management on the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements based on feedback.
• Document common issues or challenges faced by students and adapt future training sessions to address them.
• Collaborative Work:
• Work closely with other trainers, team members, and managers to ensure that the training program aligns with the company's objectives and client needs.
• Attend and contribute to internal meetings or workshops to enhance the quality of the training program.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
• Assist trainees with technical issues related to AutoCAD during training sessions, helping them resolve software-related challenges.
• Stay familiar with various versions of AutoCAD and the associated features to ensure compatibility across different systems.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design, or a related field. A certification in AutoCAD (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with AutoCAD in a professional capacity (design, drafting, engineering, etc.).
• Prior experience teaching or training individuals or groups in AutoCAD or similar software is highly preferred.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, including knowledge of advanced features such as 3D modeling, rendering, and customization.
• Strong presentation and teaching skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, approachable manner.
• Ability to create engaging training materials and exercises.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues during training.
• Familiarity with the latest AutoCAD versions and industry trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
