Role Overview

The AutoCAD Draughtsman Intern will be responsible for assisting in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for interior design projects. The intern will work closely with interior designers, architects, and other professionals to translate design concepts into precise drawings that guide project execution.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities

• Technical Drawings: Assist in producing detailed 2D drawings and plans based on design specifications and requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers to understand project scope and design intent.
• Revisions: Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from designers and clients.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documents.
• Software Proficiency: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed drawings.
• Project Support: Assist in the preparation of project presentations and documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and other design tools.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
