Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies/tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
• Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
• Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery, using computer-assisted equipment.
• Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
• Layout and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
• Confer with engineering, technical or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.
• Direct and coordinate with manufacturing or building of prototype product or system.
• Participate in the testing process, adjusting the design as necessary to achieve the desired outcome.
• Stay abreast of the latest AutoCAD technologies and industry standards to ensure the highest quality of design and drafting.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design/drafting using AutoCAD.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and familiar with other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and design standards.
• Excellent technical and communication skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month

Experience:
