•Position Overview: •

As an AutoCAD Designer specializing in HVAC, ductwork, and BOQ calculations, you will utilize your technical skills to design efficient systems and manage detailed project costs. Your role will be crucial in ensuring both technical accuracy and economic viability of our projects.

•Key Responsibilities: •

- •Design & Drafting:• Utilize AutoCAD to create accurate and detailed HVAC system designs and ductwork layouts according to project specifications.

- •Duct Sizing & HVAC Calculations:• Perform precise duct size calculations and HVAC load calculations to ensure optimal system performance.

- •Heat Load Analysis:• Conduct comprehensive heat load analysis to tailor system capacities accurately.

- •BOQ Calculations:• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities for HVAC projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates for materials and labor.

- •Collaboration:• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and cost estimators to develop designs and budgets that align with project goals and timelines.

- •Technical Documentation:• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all designs and BOQ, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

- •Quality Assurance:• Review designs and BOQ for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

•Requirements: •

- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer with a focus on HVAC systems, ductwork, and BOQ calculations.

- Proficient in AutoCAD and HVAC-related software tools for duct size, heat load, and quantity calculations.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BOQ preparation, heat load analysis, and ductwork design.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen related to project costing.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects effectively.

- Good communication skills to liaise with team members and clients effectively.

- A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC technology, or a related field is preferred.
