Job Title: AutoCAD Designer - Event Industry Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Layout Design: Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for event spaces, including stage designs, seating arrangements, booth layouts, and floor plans.
• Technical Drawings: Produce accurate technical drawings for structural elements, lighting rigs, truss systems, and other event components.
• Space Planning: Optimize venue layouts to ensure efficient use of space while maintaining aesthetics and functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with event managers, production teams, and clients to understand design requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Compliance: Ensure all designs meet safety standards, building codes, and venue regulations.
• Revisions: Modify designs based on feedback from clients or stakeholders and provide updated drawings promptly.
• Material Specifications: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure designs align with material availability and production capabilities.
• Visualization: Provide basic 3D renderings or walkthroughs for client presentations if required.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Architectural Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 4+ years of experience in AutoCAD design, preferably in the event or exhibition industry.
• Experience with event-specific design challenges, such as large-scale setups and temporary structures.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and other design software such as corel draw or SketchUp.
• Strong understanding of spatial planning, structural integrity, and safety considerations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and integrate AV, lighting, and staging elements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
