Position Title: Delivery Driver

Department: Logistics/Supply Chain

Reports to: Delivery Manager / Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, efficient, and courteous Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.

Should be able to drive a Three Wheeler Goods Vehicle

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct Inspections: Perform daily vehicle inspection checks and ensure that the vehicle is maintained in excellent condition.

Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload deliveries according to size of load and content description.

Delivery Execution: Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes, ensuring safe transportation and timely delivery.

Route Navigation: Utilize navigation apps to find the most optimal route to reach customer locations.

Customer Interaction: Interact with customers professionally and politely to confirm deliveries and handle any concerns or queries.

Documentation Handling: Maintain accurate records and logs of deliveries, vehicle mileage, and fuel expenses.

Payment Handling: Collect payments and handle paperwork, such as invoices and delivery confirmation notes.

Regulation Compliance: Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

License: A valid driver's license, with no serious traffic violations on record.

Experience: Previous experience in a delivery role is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills and Abilities:

Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

Organizational Skills: Capability to handle multiple tasks and organize work efficiently.

Navigation Skills: Proficient in using GPS and route navigation apps.

Physical Stamina: Able to lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.

Customer Service Skills: Ability to address customer concerns and queries in a professional manner.

Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail in order to verify the accuracy of customer orders.

Time: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?13,000.00 per month

• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
