The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property law, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple conveyancing transactions efficiently. Familiarity with electronic conveyancing platforms and software used in the industry is essential.Responsibilities: 1. Property Transaction Management: Manage the legal aspects of property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and refinancing, from start to finish.2. Contract Preparation and Review: Draft and review contracts of sale, purchase agreements, and other legal documents related to property transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian property laws.3. Property Searches and Due Diligence: Conduct thorough searches on properties to identify any potential issues or restrictions that may affect the transaction, such as encumbrances, liens, or zoning regulations.4. Title Examination: Examine property titles to verify ownership, identify any defects or encumbrances, and ensure that the title is clear for transfer.5. Negotiation and Communication: Communicate with clients, real estate agents, solicitors, and other parties involved in the transaction to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and provide updates on the progress of the transaction.6. Financial Coordination: Coordinate the financial aspects of the transaction, including liaising with lenders, arranging for the transfer of funds, and ensuring compliance with stamp duty and other financial obligations.7. Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing property transactions in Australia, including property and contract laws, consumer protection laws, and anti-money laundering regulations.8. Settlement and Completion: Facilitate the settlement process, including coordinating the exchange of contracts, arranging for the transfer of ownership, and overseeing the finalization of the transaction.9. Client Representation: Act as a representative for clients throughout the transaction process, providing legal advice, guidance, and support to help them navigate the complexities of property transactions.10.
