An exciting opportunity has arisen at Certifications at Navi Mumbai, India for AUDITOR \xe2\x80\x93 AGRI & SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATIONS. As an Auditor \xe2\x80\x93 Agri & Sustainability Certifications you will be responsible for the application of organic and sustainable agriculture and regulatory requirements and principles against established standards and protocols. The position requires strong communication. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of the agriculture industry. You will be initiating and conducting on site audit activities at our clients. You will be responsible for preparing and distributing your audit findings in an audit report for some of the most appreciated agri & sustainability related certification programs. Tasks and responsibilities
- Auditing
- Document review
- Preparing and conducting all on-site audit activities
- Sampling
- Preparing, approving and distributing the audit report
- Ensuring audits reports and documents are submitted on time and review it for its completeness
- Conducting audit follow-up
- Maintaining good relation with the clients
- Maintaining contact with the Certifier (Certification Manager) on regular basis
- Assisting with handling of claims and appeals
- Keeping upbreast of all the Certifications Programmes offered by the company as well as any market innovation
- Keeping abreast of developments, issues and legislative changes pertaining to related industry sectors
- Extensive travel (up to 20-25 days in a month) across India
Requirements
- Graduate in Agriculture
- Post graduate in Agriculture would be advantageous
- Minimum experience of 2 years in agriculture or related industry
- Experience and knowledge of sustainable and organic farming certification schemes
- Lead Auditor for ISO 9001/ 14001 would be added advantage
- Good command of English: in speech and in writing
- Excellent report writing, presentation skills
- Resourceful, fast learner with strong interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Willingness to travel extensively (upto 15-20 days per month) across India
- Independent attitude towards the job
- Accurate in observations and reporting
- Systematic and analytical way of working
- Aimed at serving clients and team spirited
