Audiologist
Job Description
• Diagnosis : Conduct comprehensive hearing tests and assessments to identify hearing loss and balance disorders.
• Treatment : Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including fitting and dispensing hearing aids and other assistive devices.
• Patient Education : Educate patients and their families about hearing loss, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Counseling : Provide counseling to patients regarding communication strategies and coping mechanisms for living with hearing loss.
• Collaboration : Work with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals.
• Research : Stay updated on advancements in audiology and participate in research projects to improve practices and outcomes.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
