:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Visual Crestron Programmer to join our team. The AV Crestron Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning Crestron control systems for a variety of AV projects. This role requires in-depth technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Crestron Programmer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in Crestron programming languages, including Simpl, Simpl+, and VTPro-e.
• Experience with Crestron software tools such as Crestron Studio, Toolbox, and Smart Graphics.
• Experience with other AV control systems like AMX and Extron are good too
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP) are highly desirable.
Knowledge:
• In-depth knowledge of Crestron control systems, including hardware and software components.
• Familiarity with networking principles and protocols as they relate to AV systems.
• Understanding of AV signal flow, audio and video distribution, and control system integration.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for AV system programming and installation.
• Awareness of emerging AV technologies and trends.
Responsibilities:
• Design and program Crestron control systems for AV projects, ensuring seamless integration and operation of audio, video, lighting, and other systems.
• Conduct testing of Crestron systems, ensuring functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Crestron programming and control systems.
• Collaborate with AV engineers, designers, and installers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide training and support to clients and end-users on the operation of Crestron systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all programming projects, including system diagrams, code, and user manuals.
• Stay current with Crestron products, programming languages, and industry standards.
• Recommend improvements and upgrades based on emerging AV technologies and trends.
