Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Athlete Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a roster of athletes, developing and maintaining relationships with them, and ensuring their professional and personal needs are met. The Athlete Manager will work closely with our marketing, legal, and financial teams to maximize the athletes' career opportunities and ensure their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and represent a roster of professional athletes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with athletes, understanding their goals and needs.
• Secure and negotiate sponsorship and endorsement deals.
• Coordinate with marketing and PR teams to enhance athletes' public profiles.
• Provide career guidance and support to athletes.
• Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist athletes with personal matters, including travel arrangements, scheduling, and public appearances.
• Monitor athletes' performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide informed advice to athletes.
• Ensure athletes' well-being and handle any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in athlete management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the sports industry and athlete management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with athletes and other stakeholders.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
