Line of Service AssuranceIndustry/Sector Not ApplicableSpecialism AssuranceManagement Level Senior Associate & Summary A career in our Regulatory Risk and Quality Control practice, within Assurance Support services, will provide the opportunity to support our engagement teams and clients by providing advice and counsel on accounting, financial reporting, and strategic business issues. In joining, youll help ensure a complete and relevant exchange of information among our consultants and in turn with engagement teams and clients, provide experts advice on a variety of specific topics, support engagement teams in resolving complex issues, and supporting clients and their subsidiaries in evaluating the potential impact of accounting and reporting standard setting initiatives. Youll develop strong relationships with our engagement teams and established audit clients and enhance our ability to meet greater investor expectations with the challenges of an increasingly complex business environment.Our team supports regulatory operations and strategy by monitoring PwCs overall regulatory environment, developing communications and training around governing board requirements. Reporting Structure & Key RelationshipsThis should include detail on:
  • Line Manager
  • Number of reports (if applicable)
  • Priority team relationships

  • He/she will be directly reporting to the Quality Team Manager/Senior Manager. Should be able to maintain a good working relationship with the Quality team and internal stakeholders including function representatives.
  • He/she should be able to manage and induct/coach new/junior team members in the team and help them complete quality reviews/assigned deliverables within agreed timelines based on checklists/instructions
Job OverviewCandidate would be responsible for performing the following activities:
  • Process walkthrough and documentation for in-scope IT controls
  • Design & Operational Effectiveness Review & documentation of risk responses/controls
  • Evaluation of Network Resources/Key Reports Testing
  • Driving stakeholder meetings to conclude findings noted during the testing and documentation and tracking remedial actions
  • Preparation of dashboard/reports used for compliance monitoring/reporting
  • Candidate should be well conversant with MS Office and have good analytical and communication skills

Education Qualification Required & Other Requirements
  • B. Com/BSc (Preferably CISA)
  • Strong Technical knowledge in all domains of ITGC
  • Business process review/internal controls review/audit experience for 4 years and above
  • Strong attention to details, analytical skills
  • Inclination and interest in compliance related matters
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Team player, dynamic, committed to providing high quality, responsibility and maintaining timeliness
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
