Position Summary Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professionals provides advisory services including Accounting and regulatory support for accounting change and special matters, accounting processes and controls support. We are looking for an experienced professional focussed on Blackline to join EY FAAS team to help drive growth and manage delivery teams, bring subject matter expertise around Blackline solution of our FAAS services. The Senior should be competent to manage a portfolio of clients and be responsible for the timeliness and quality of the work as per EY Global Standards for our FAAS team. While the Senior will be based out of our Gurugram or Bengaluru offices, the individual will be responsible for supporting EY practices and clients across the Global Market. Also, the individual may be required to travel to other countries (short-term) for executing client engagements. Primary Responsibilities The Senior will assist teams of FAAS professionals during engagements covering a broad spectrum of areas. The individual will be responsible for the following tasks: .Assist in Blackline projects, including design, implementation, configuration, and integration of Blackline modules .Analyse and optimize Finance Close processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices .Assist team in client demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of Blackline solutions .Perform system testing, create test scenarios, and ensure successful data migration and validation for Blackline functionalities .Assist in developing and delivering training programs and workshops to enhance end-user understanding and proficiency in Blackline modules .Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and advancements in Consolidation process, sharing knowledge and insights with the team .Support project management activities, including project planning, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress .Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Blackline modules, addressing any functional issues or enhancements required .Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry standards Qualifications, skills and experience To qualify, candidates must have: .Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field .Candidates with a minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in Blackline .Blackline certification and hands on experience with Blackline implementations Experience in the following areas: .Strong understanding of Account Reconciliation, Transaction Matching, Journal Entry and Task Management, Variance Analysis, Smart Close modules, including but not limited to account setup, match rule construction, metrics, journal entry management, task management, and other functionality configurations. .Support Blackline users by process improvement, troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and assisting in the creation of documentation as needed .Experience in integrating Blackline with other systems and external platforms .Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues .Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively engage stakeholders .Strong executive presence and ability to interface with all levels of management (EY and clients) .Willingness to work in a global environment where travel is regularly required for serval clients Ideally, you\'ll also have Interest in business and commerciality.
