Job Description

A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer's job is to ensure products or services meet quality standards and requirements. Execute Manual and Automated Tests: They perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects in software applications. Identify and Report Issues: They document and report bugs or issues found during testing, providing detailed information for developers to fix. Collaborate with Developers: QA Engineers work closely with development teams to ensure fixes meet requirements and to address any questions or concerns. Analyze Testing Results: They analyze test results to identify trends in defects and potential areas for improvement. Track Quality Metrics: They monitor quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Stay Up-to-Date: QA Engineers must stay current with new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies. Provide Feedback and Recommendations: They provide feedback to the product development team and may suggest solutions to identified problems.
