About the Client:One of the leading Manufacturing ConglomerateAbout the RoleThe Plant HR Manager is responsible for managing all human resource activities at the plant level, ensuring that the plant operates efficiently with a strong and engaged workforce. This position will focus on employee relations, talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, health and safety compliance, and labor law adherence to maintain a productive and positive work environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Staffing:
  • Lead and manage recruitment processes for the plant, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the selection of candidates, ensuring the hiring process aligns with plant needs.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, ensuring fair treatment and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
  • Performance Management:
  • Support the development of performance management systems and oversee performance appraisals.
  • Coach managers and supervisors on conducting performance evaluations and setting goals.
  • Manage disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Training & Development:
  • Identify and coordinate training programs to ensure employees meet the required skills and safety standards.
  • Support ongoing employee development through workshops, certifications, and cross-training opportunities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
  • Compliance & Legal:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of labor market trends and legal changes, updating policies and practices accordingly.
  • Handle workers' compensation and other regulatory compliance matters.
  • Health and Safety:
  • Work closely with the safety department to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Assist in implementing safety programs and maintaining workplace safety records.
  • Address any safety concerns and support accident investigations as needed.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Assist in the administration of payroll, benefits, and other compensation-related functions.
  • Monitor and ensure that benefits packages are competitive and aligned with employee needs.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR to handle compensation issues and payroll discrepancies.
  • Reporting & Administration:
  • Maintain HR records and prepare reports on HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, training).
  • Prepare and submit periodic HR reports to plant management and corporate HR.
  • Assist in budgeting for HR-related expenses (training, recruitment, etc.).
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and employee relations practices.
  • Experience with recruitment, performance management, and employee development programs.
  • Experience: 5 to 8 years
