The Role Responsibilities

Purpose

The role holder will be a part of the HUB team in Bangalore supporting stress test execution. HUB is the centre of excellence (CoE) specialising in execution, change management and operational control for the central solutions models, responsible for delivering stress test results and management reports in the Standard Chartered Bank. The HUB team works with stakeholders from the Group, regions, and countries within the risk management and finance functions across Asia, Europe and Middle East on internal and regulatory stress tests.

  • Managing enterprise-wide stress testing delivery / projects across the Group (including regions and countries)from the operations perspective.
  • Managing the day-to-day activities in the Hub, providing guidance on policies and processes and collaborating with Team Managers for the smooth running of their work.
  • Managing various access like SBAP / PAXATA / SAS / Tableau etc across teams for all new joiners and during country onboarding, along with raising requests for new joiner Laptops.
  • Managing the governance of the team in terms of updating Org Chart, team profile on Face-mat, updating Headcount projections and SRM MoM on tools, seating management and Billing, etc.
  • Managing the Hiring process by updating JARs and keeping track of Position IDs for JR creation and updating the Hiring tracker.
  • Helping with Relocation by answering queries and redirecting to the right people.
  • Working with the engagement committee to keep the team engaged with fun activities once a Quarter, help organise monthly Team meetings.

  • Develop a keen awareness and understanding of the how the Stress Testing Hub team works and how best to cater to their needs.
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates.
  • Identify and escalate operational risk issues and areas of non-compliance with internal or external regulations to ensure that the appropriate control framework is in place.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks successfully and efficiently in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision.
  • Post graduate degree in any discipline with at least 4 years of Operations experience.
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities with excellent organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills and Time management skills.
  • Ability to learn on the job and perform.
