: Manager/ Sr. Manager - Payroll & Compliance Position: Manager / Senior Manager- Payroll & Compliance Location: Mumbai, may include travel to South India Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: As a Senior Executive in payroll & Compliance at TVS ILP, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, familiarity with HR software such as ZingHR HRMS & Payroll and DarwinBox HRMS & Payroll, and extensive experience in handling payroll and compliance functions. Key Responsibilities: xe2x80xa2 Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. xe2x80xa2 Review and verify payroll data, including timesheets and fixed and variable components like bonuses or other relevant details. xe2x80xa2 Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to gather necessary payroll inputs and resolve discrepancies on time. xe2x80xa2 Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and labor standards related to payroll and benefits across India. xe2x80xa2 Prepare and submit payroll-related registers and another compliance register. xe2x80xa2 Getting approval from Registers and disbursement of salaries to all employees on time. xe2x80xa2 Compliance also includes tax filings, reconciliations, and audits as and when required. xe2x80xa2 Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements and implement necessary adjustments to processes and procedures. xe2x80xa2 Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies, procedures, and best practices in the organization. xe2x80xa2 Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries, deductions, and tax withholdings. xe2x80xa2 Collaborate with IT and software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll systems and software. xe2x80xa2 Conduct periodic audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and external regulations. xe2x80xa2 Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by management. Requirements: xe2x80xa2 Bachelor's/ Masterxe2x80x99s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. xe2x80xa2 Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Indian payroll processing and compliance, preferably in Real Estate, Engineering, Logistics, manufacturing, or automotive industry. xe2x80xa2 Proficiency in using HR software such as ZingHR, DarwinBox, or similar payroll management systems is mandatory. xe2x80xa2 Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor standards. xe2x80xa2 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing. xe2x80xa2 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications is preferred. xe2x80xa2 Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment keeping accuracy in mind. xe2x80xa2 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues. xe2x80xa2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels across organisation. xe2x80xa2 Certification in Payroll Processing or related field (e.g., CPP, FPC) is a plus.
