Role Overview:- We are seeking a bold, strategic thinker and executor to join our team as an Associate/Sr. Associate - Market Development and Growth in Bengaluru. - This full-time, on-site role puts you at the heart of a transformative movement-scaling markets for products crafted by rural enterprises, including producer collectives and smallholder farmers across India.- You will join the leadership team in identifying high-potential opportunities, forging market linkages, and driving national and global expansion, also help redefine the timber and wood industry by advancing bamboo-based solutions. - Your work will directly support leadership in shaping sustainable, high-growth pathways for these producers and farmers, ensuring they gain access to larger commercial opportunities.Role Responsibilities:- Identify and engage potential clients, follow through on leads, and convert prospects into sales, ensuring growth.- Work closely with leadership to develop and execute strategies for expanding into high-potential sectors such as hospitality and construction/wood and allied sector.- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and market gaps for bamboo-based products, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.- Gather and analyze client feedback to refine products and better align with market needs, ensuring strong product-market fit.- Collaborate with design and production teams to develop Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), test them with potential customers, and refine them based on feedback.- Assist in creating compelling sales materials, proposals, and presentations tailored to customer needs.- Represent the organization at trade shows and networking events to enhance brand visibility and industry influence.- Track key performance metrics, including customer acquisition, retention, revenue growth, product usage, and market share, to drive data-driven decision-making.Company DescriptionIndustree Foundation is on a mission to transform rural livelihoods by building one of the world's largest smallholder bamboo plantation program.
