What role will you play?
In this role, you will be responsible for regular reporting tasks that serve as Management Information Systems (MIS) for senior management, facilitating decision-making and the control and management of key credit tasks. You will create the necessary data models and design solutions as reports, dashboards, or on-system solutions. Additionally, you will automate and enhance existing reporting and analytics processes using tools like Alteryx, Power BI, VBA, and our enterprise Data Lake.
What you offer
Minimum bachelor's degree qualification with strong academic performance; an MBA or certification in finance or risk management is desirable but not mandatory.
0-2 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in the data/reporting stream.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel is a must) and preferably a basic understanding of VBA/SQL. Familiarity with various upstream and downstream data processes, data storage solutions, and sources, as well as systems and tools.
Experience with ETL tools such as SAS and Alteryx is desirable but not mandatory.
A solution-oriented approach to understanding stakeholders\' business needs, translating them into data and analytics requirements, and designing the necessary solutions with a problem-solving mindset. Willingness to own issues, delve deep into data problems to identify root causes, and take ownership to coordinate resolutions.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquaries material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
