Join ARCLANTIC team as an Associate Video Editor. The idle candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of the news channel. The candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling video content that resonates with the target audience and helps drive engagement and growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a creative team and contribute to the success of our channel.
Responsibilities:
• Editing raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with our brand's aesthetic and storytelling objectives.
• Collaborating with the content team to develop storyboards and visual concepts for videos.
• Managing post-production processes such as color correction, audio mixing, and adding visual effects or motion graphics.
• Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing to optimize content for different platforms and formats.
• Conducting thorough reviews of edited videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Maintaining organized project files and efficient workflow practices to meet deadlines effectively.
• Actively participating in feedback sessions to continually improve the quality of our video content.
• Adapting quickly to changing priorities and project requirements, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on new challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in film studies, broadcasting, communications, or a related field
• Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva along with a solid understanding of video codecs and file formats.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition, pacing, and storytelling.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.
Nice to have skills:
• Familiarity with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) technology for producing immersive video content.
• Proficiency in additional video editing software beyond the primary tool used by the company, demonstrating adaptability and versatility.
• Understanding of basic principles of cinematography, including lighting setups, camera operation, and shot composition.
• Experience with scriptwriting or storyboard creation to contribute creative ideas during the pre-production phase.
