Position/: Condition Based Monitoring Designation: Associate Vice President Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) Vibration Analysis is a type of predictive maintenance that involves use of sensors to measure the condition of an asset over time while it is in operation. The data collected can be used to establish trends, predict failure, and calculate remaining life of an asset. Condition-based maintenance (CBM) is called as a maintenance strategy that monitors the actual condition of an asset to decide what maintenance needs to be done. The CBM Senior Resource would work closely with GAM SBU Head\'s and lead the existing CBM organisations. Must be a strong technical acumen in vibration analysis & monitoring with exposure on multi turbines especially on Wind & Hydro turbines with min 20 - 25 years\' experience. Responsible for real time interpretation of overall electrical, mechanical & structural condition of turbines. Responsible for framing guidelines for predictive maintenance. Responsible to optimize the maintenance intervals (More optimal than manufacturer recommendations) To Minimize unscheduled downtime due to catastrophic failure To Improve worker safety. Primary Task Of This Role To Lead the CBM team To deploy specialized equipment to measure acoustics and vibrations within a structure, machine, or equipment. To analyze the data & to understand how to eliminate noise, increase structural integrity, and create technical solutions to problems. To look for anomalies & monitoring change from the established vibration signature of the system. To eliminate incidence of catastrophic failure. Positions Qualifications Should be a Masters/Graduate holder in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with min 20 - 25 years of experience with strong Engineering background with P.hD. in vibration analysis & Condition monitoring diagnosis.
