Your key responsibilitiesThe role\xe2\x80\x99s key responsibility is to drive and implement a globally consistent AFC Quality Assurance (QA) program to assure that the Business Line AFC\xe2\x80\x99s (BLAFC) review of KYC escalations are robust and correctly executed across the bank. You will report to the QA Lead, in terms of guidance and authority and will be guided in terms of strategic issues, compliance, etc. However, you should be able to independently interact with Internal/External parties and are expected to be aware of the changes in the regulation.Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Support the QA Team Lead in DIPL and the APAC CT&A Head or designate to implement a globally consistent BLAFC QA Program;
  • Ensure that QA is performed in compliance with the relevant policy, procedures, and testing standards;
  • Interactions with key stakeholders across the business and collaborating with other teams as required;
  • Prepare reports and MI which are concise, timely and provide value to business and management to continuously improve BLAFC processes, controls and mitigate risks;
  • Compiling reports and trend analysis in preparation for discussion with key Stakeholders, identifying key issues and areas for improvement;
  • Working in coordination with the AFC Testing & QA teams in hub locations, for any coordination of the BLAFC Quality Assurance program;
  • Maintain the AFC BLAFC QA approach and methodology consistent and up-to-date;
  • Support the CT&A team for any German language translation requirements
  • Keeping abreast of all regulatory developments which may impact the QA program;
  • Assist on projects as required
Your skills and experience
  • Experience working in financial crimes in a financial institution
  • Experience working in the KYC space in a comparable Bank of DB\xe2\x80\x99s size and spread. Any 2nd Line experience will be preferred
  • Working knowledge of international banking business and products
  • Experience of working within a multinational organisation(s)
  • Some understanding and application of relevant AML & KYC regulation and legislation.
  • Strong German Business Communication skills, both written and verbal,B2 level of certification or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to communicate effectively with Compliance, the line of business, and technical team members, with the ability to influence stakeholders;
  • A basic understanding of financial crime risks and internal controls
  • Analytical, with the ability to provide practical solutions for minimizing risk;
  • Able to work independently to manage projects and deliverables to completion;
  • An enthusiastic team player; able to build strong, open dialogue-based relationships with relevant Stakeholders;
  • Action oriented with a strong focus on completing tasks accurately and efficiently whilst working independently and with minimum direction;
  • Able to remain calm under pressure while maintaining high energy levels;
  • Able to manage many competing deliverables effectively for on-time delivery;
  • Self-starter and able to recognize opportunities for improvement and to act on those opportunities;
  • Proficiency to work with Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Access
