Hello,

We are looking for Associate in our Accession Dept.

Education - DMLT / BMLT

Experience - Any Lab 6months experience

Job Role:

Receives specimen for laboratory analysis.

Monitors & documents the temperature of Sample transport boxes containing samples from local & outstation clients.

Thorough review of service agreements / Test Requisition forms for completeness of information required to perform and report relevant tests. This individual will necessarily review the following details pertaining to all test requests:

a. Patient demographics

b. Details of referring physician or client

c. Details of ordered tests (verify with AmPath test codes in LIS / Lab Manual)

d. Specifications of the type of sample and time of collection.

Thoroughly review specimen transportation conditions upon receipt - including devises/containers used for transportation, media or preservatives used, temperature and integrity of specimen.

Inspect the incoming samples against set acceptance and rejection criteria.

Perform isolation/separation of singular samples in case the same needs to be channelized into two different lab analysis areas/depts.

Attach test/sample specific SID labels to the primary sample container.

Transfer samples to respective depts. within specified turnaround time for accession.

Ensure that clinical details of the patient are maintained in the LIS database

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?22,000.00 - ?26,000.00 per month
