Reports to:Area Sales Manager JOB PROFILE JobPurpose (Stateinonesentencetheoverallobjectiveofthejob) To achieve target sales of in-line products within budgets for the designated territory. Major Accountabilities (Describe the main results of the job to be achieved ) o To deliver the team performance contract and individual performance plan to meet or exceed sales target within agreed budgets. o To gain formulary acceptance and increased usage for promoted products in all relevant accounts. o To prepare & implement account development & territory business plans. o To improve clinical sales & marketing knowledge of promoted & competitor products. o To maintain an up to date knowledge of the health provision environment. o To apply science behind the molecule and concept behind managing the Therapeutic Area for effec- tive customer influencing o To identify & develop key opinion leaders to increase product usage, gain formulary acceptance and product endorsement. o To improve selling skills by undertaking the required skill practice or learning identified as part of an ongoing training programme. o To improve productivity through delivery of QTQ objectives. o To update & maintain sales tracking systems to maximise effectiveness on territory. o To operate within the relevant codes of practice. Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level includ- ing the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative). Knowledge of the health care system and its changing environment.
