Our Digital Grid Management software suite, including AspenTech OSI products, helps power and utilities companies achieve superior real-time control, optimization and management for exceptional performance of complex energy networks.The Role In this position you will design, develop and improve technical documentation for AspenTechs OSI products and technologies. Specific, on-the-job training will be provided.Your Impact

• Research, write and edit documentation such as configuration guides, users guides and other related technical materials.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of products to efficiently manage and deliver complex software documentation that meets the needs of the target audience.
• Work closely with development teams, subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to continually improve documentation.
• Utilize ticket tracking system to ensure tasks stay on track and deadlines are met.
• Apply design and style guides to existing documentation to ensure consistent look and feel across documentation library.

• Bachelor's degree in Technical/Professional Writing, English, Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in developing software or technical documentation.
• Thorough understanding of how to translate complex information into concise, easy-to-follow instructions.
• Aptitude for technology, Automation, and IT/Software applications.
• Comfortable working at both the high level and detail level; must be result, process and quality oriented.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities, remaining flexible and effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent writing, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Exposure to documentation authoring software (like MadCap Flare).
• Knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
• Understanding of Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Jama.
