The Python/Pyspark Developer position will involve design, development, implementation & operations for providing technology solutions for custom technology projects focused on web application development, data analytics and visualization. We are looking for a Python/Pyspark Developer to join our Enabling Technologies Team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to design and implementation of Data lake solutions, integrating multiple data sources and also create visual dashboards. Enabling Technology (ET) team consists of 23+ technology consultants and is reporting to the Practice Manager. We have a great skill set in data base development and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in the US healthcare space and have strong hands-on experience in About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 5+ year experience in Datawarehouse/ DataLake solutions with expertise in Designing and Developing Data Models for Enterprise Data Warehouses is required. Experience in of open-source and commercial relational Databases like Oracle, Postgres, Snowflake, Redshift, or other AWS RDS (Relational Database Service). Proficiency with relational database technology. Strong ETL knowledge with Real Time jobs, batch jobs, scheduling, source control and Web Services. Should be able to write AIRFLOW DAGS in Python Strong knowledge in Data Services and Data Quality transformations, analyzing redundant and inconsistent data. Experience with Tableau, SportFire, TIBCO, QlikView, MicroStrategy, Information Builders, and other reporting and analytical tools Excellent communication skills. AWS cloud Release cycle of modern Java-based web applications Agile/Scrum Software development methodologies A flexible and collaborative approach to work Ability to prioritize effectively and adopt a systematic approach to tasks What will you be doing in this role Interact closely with Business Analysis team, ETL (Extract Transform Load) team and BI Reporting teams to ensure understanding of proper use of data architecture. Understand requirements to create technical designs, data models and migration strategies. Design, build, and maintain physical databases, dimensional data models, OLAP cubes, ETL layer design and data integration strategies. Collaborate with technology stakeholders to define and implement actionable metrics, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and data visualizations. Implementation of dashboards and reporting capabilities. Implement data quality, data integrity, and data standardization efforts across. products and databases enabling key business processes and applications. Recommend improvements to enhance existing ETL and data integration processes to enable performance and overall scalability. Projects you will be working on The solution which utilizes data from Clarivate Analytics (such as Cortellis and the Web of Science), public, and customer sources and span the R&D lifecycle, supporting basic research, drug discovery and translational science, clinical and regulatory, and commercial/portfolio disciplines. We work on developing dashboards, develop impact assessment workflows and BI reports. About the Team Enabling Technology Services is a group of 23+ technology consultants which includes Architects & SMEs, Technology Delivery team and Operation & Project Management team reporting to the VP of Global Consulting Group. We are spread across 3+ Global Delivery Locations. We work on providing solutions for data integration and insights for data from as Cortellis and the Web of Science to provide reports for Competitive analysis, Clinical Trials trends, Approval tracker, Regulations trends and Implementation tracker. Hours of Work The team is based out of India and works from 12 PM to 9 PM. The position is permanent and full-time and offers the flexibility of a hybrid model.
