Know more about us : Brief about the Team Tata 1mg is looking to add a seasoned technical architect to its technology team. The architect will play an important role in shaping and scaling Tata 1mg\'s technology investments, in defining future engineering roadmap and in mentoring and building solid bench strength of strong technologists on the team. What will you do : A Software Technical Architect plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of software systems. Their primary responsibility is to design and oversee the technical aspects of a software project, ensuring that it meets the desired functionality, performance and scalability requirements while adhering to best practices and architectural principles. Here are the typical roles and responsibilities of a Software Technical Architect: System Design: Create high-level and detailed technical designs for software systems, considering factors such as scalability, maintainability, security, and performance. This includes defining system components, interfaces, and data flow. Technology Selection: Choose appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for the project based on its requirements, constraints, and industry best practices. Architecture Development: Define and document the overall software architecture, including the use of design patterns, architectural styles (e.g., microservices, monolithic), and integration strategies. Scalability and Maintenance: Plan for the long-term scalability and maintainability of the software, considering factors such as future enhancements, updates, and evolving business needs. Code and Architecture Review: Conduct regular code and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with the defined architectural guidelines and best practices. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and other technical challenges to ensure the software can handle expected workloads. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to the development team, guiding them in implementing the architectural vision and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Adaptation to Emerging Technologies: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential benefits and applicability to current and future projects. Development: Should have hands-on experience and collaborate with developers in the SDLC process. Security: Ensure that the software is designed and implemented with security in mind, including data encryption, access control, and protection against common security threats. Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and code comments, to facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders. What are we looking for: 5+ years of experience across heterogeneous technology stacks (Python/RoR/java etc.). Good knowledge of Developer tools. Good knowledge of Architectural tools and technologies. Good knowledge of Cloud and distributed computing. Good knowledge of asynchronous programming paradigm. Good knowledge of Microservices and serverless technologies, Security and Observability tech stacks. Good Soft skills.
